I first started helping my father with the home improvement jobs that he did in the evenings and the weekends, we installed a lot of ceiling tiles and paneling. When I was 16 years old I worked as a carpenter during my summer break from high school. After I completed a year of college I started working as a carpenter in new home construction, I would install all of the windows, doors, kitchens, bathrooms, decks and anything else carpentry related. I did that for about a year then I started working for a home improvement company, shortly after that I decided to go into business for myself. In 1976 I received my Maryland home improvement license. Starting in 1982 I was on the board of directors of the Maryland Improvement Contractors Association.
We have cultivated long-term customer relationships in Maryland based on our belief that the only way to operate is honestly and fairly.
We are proud of our longevity in an industry with lots of competition, we are one of the oldest MHIC license holders still in business. It’s a testimony to our expertise and the way we treat our customers’ homes as if they were our own. We believe that combining great product lines with an expert team is the only way to go.
We use good quality materials and are committed to getting the job done right the first time. If there is a problem with our workmanship we will make it right.
